Edmund Lee, M.D., Ph.D.

Founder & President — No More CoPays! Inc.

Born and raised in New York City and Brooklyn, NY, Edmund Lee's path to medicine was forged in the city's public schools and some of the nation's most distinguished institutions. A graduate of Stuyvesant High School, he went on to earn his B.S. from Binghamton University, his Ph.D. from Rutgers University, and his M.D. from Harvard Medical School — a journey that shaped both his scientific rigor and his deep commitment to patients.

Board certified in Dermatology, Dr. Lee was recognized by the Society for Investigative Dermatology in 2004 for ground-breaking research in psoriasis. Throughout his career he served as a mentor to college students pursuing careers in medicine, believing that investing in the next generation of physicians is inseparable from improving care for patients.

Now retired from clinical practice, Dr. Lee is devoting his energy to a cause he considers the defining challenge of our era: re-imagining American healthcare. He founded No More CoPays! Inc. to educate the public, elevate the physician-patient relationship, and build the public will for comprehensive, patient-centered reform.

Why we do this work.

No More CoPays! Inc. was founded on a simple conviction: that every American citizen has a fundamental right to quality healthcare. Our leadership team brings together decades of clinical experience, research, and frontline nursing to give this mission both credibility and urgency. We are not a political organization — we are an educational one, dedicated to giving Americans the knowledge they need to demand the system they deserve. A system that is Humane, Equitable, Accessible, Reliable, Transparent, and that treats every patient with Dignity.
